Corkor is specialized in Eco-Friendly products made from cork.
Inspired by the energy of the city and cork oak forests that surround us, we became passionate about creating beautiful cork bags and accessories, highly functional and extremely well built.
As we don't mass produce, we manage to concentrate on quality and service and most importantly, people. We strive to be a fun and energetic place to work, we believe that when we're happy, our products and services will be great and our customers will be happy, too.
Our goal is to provide our customers, with a strong selection of premium Cork products at competitive prices backed up with a genuine customer service experience.
We grew up surrounded by cork oak trees and learned to love and respect them since childhood. Every time we went for a walk, picnic or a field trip at Portuguese “montados” we were thought to only play with the bits and pieces of cork that were on the floor. The biggest pieces were cherished by its finders and envied by all the others. The bigger the piece, the nicer the craft we could make to offer our loved ones. Inspired by these memories and driven by this passion, we decided to bring cork to the “grown ups” world. When we first started, it was only the two of us, from the ideas in our minds, throughout the drafts in a piece of paper, the making of some samples… to the packing and shipping of the finished product. Now we proudly employ a handful of local Portuguese artisans that, right here, at our small workshop at Barreiro, help us produce the beautiful and perfectly finished handmade cork products that can be used by environmentally conscious people without compromising their desire to be modern, stylish and trendy.
